About
Professional Bull Riding isn’t called “The Toughest Sport on Dirt” for nothing. And not just anybody can get to the World Finals in Las Vegas. You have to earn the privilege to compete here.
More than 1,200 bull riders from the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico competed in over three hundred bull riding events this year. Out of all of them, only the top 45 riders along with 75 of the best bulls will qualify for the prestigious PBR World Finals held here in Las Vegas.
Once here, they will battle it out for six nights in front of sold out audiences… all for the coveted title of PBR World Champion.
In 2007, PBR events were aired on NBC, FOX Sports, and VERSUS. Additionally, foreign broadcasts reached 84 countries and more than 500 million households. In the United States alone, over 100 million viewers tune in each year to watch the PBR on network and cable television.
To put it bluntly, professional bull riding is America’s original extreme sport. The PBR was founded in 1992, and reflects the sport’s deeply embedded roots into the American culture. It is truly a captivating and adrenaline charged sporting event that features the greatest bull riders and bucking bulls in the world.
During the event, ThePBRLasVegas.com is where you can find independent views and reviews as they happen. Posted by the fans and friends of TheVegasTourist.com
