ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (March 28, 2009) - The top 40 bull riders invaded University of New Mexico’s “The Pit,” for the second of three performances in Albuquerque, N.M. The Sandia Resort & Casino presents the Ty Murray Invitational, stop #16 on the prestigious Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) tour, showcased the world’s best as they took on the toughest bulls the PBR had to offer in front of a sold-out Saturday night crowd. At the end of round two, reigning World Champion Guilherme Marchi (Leme, SP, Brazil) found himself at the top of the leader board after scoring 90 points on the bull, Super Duty, owned by D&H Cattle Company.

The Sandia Resort & Casino presents the Ty Murray Invitational brought the top 40 bull riders in the world to Albuquerque, N.M., for stop #16 on the prestigious BFTS tour. At the end of round one, Brian Canter (Randleman, N.C.) took on the bull, Carolina Cat, owned by Walton & Wagoner Bucking Bulls, for a lucrative 90.75 points and a second consecutive long-round win. He collected a check for $7,000.
