PBR Invades North Carolina for Two Action-Packed Performances
PUEBLO, Colo. (January 27, 2009) – The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) whirlwind January schedule sends the world’s best bull riders to the Lawrence Joel Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum for the Copenhagen Bull Riding Invitational presented by Pike Electric for the second consecutive year. At 8 p.m. on Friday, January 30 and 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, the PBR’s elite Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) will showcase the top 40 bull riders in the world as they compete for the coveted event title.

The PBR’s reigning top athletes face off in a $20,000 wager. – Not one to shy away from a friendly bet, PBR Board Member and Stock Contractor Tom Teague is putting his money where his mouth is to the tune of $20,000 next weekend for the sixth stop on the 2009 Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS). The East Coast event is set to go down on Teague’s turf in Winston-Salem, N.C., on January 30-31 for the Copenhagen Bull Riding Invitational presented by Pike Electric at the Lawrence Joel Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum. Teague has joined forces with good friend and COO of the Dallas Cowboys, Steve Jones, to challenge reigning World Champion Guilherme Marchi in a head-to-head battle with Teague’s 2008 World Champion Bull, Bones, for one ride and hard cash.
