Another new partner for the PBR??

The sport keeps getting larger with more sponsorship.  This should make the worl Finals a interesting event with each new sponsor trying to make their mark on the crowd.

==========================

The Professional Bull Riders’ Inc. (PBR) is proud to announce that the Zantrex-3 Insta-Shot has signed on to be the “Official Energy Supplement of the PBR.” Zantrex-3 will not only be a new partner for the Toughest Sport on Dirt, but will also be involved in a new competition program, the Zantrex-3 Insta-Shot Grudge Match, which will be conducted at all two and three day Built Ford Tough Series events.

“We are very excited to be involved in sponsoring such a demanding, high-energy sport,” said Stan Olson, spokesperson for Zantrex-3. “Zantrex-3 Insta-Shot is a perfect match for professional bull riding. It gives you instant, sustained, incredible energy and keeps you lean, mean, and ready to face any challenge.”

“Our newest partnership with Zantrex is a perfect fit. They are an exceptional company with an exciting energy supplement product,” says Sean Gleason, PBR’s Chief Marketing Officer. “The Insta-Shot Grudge Match is a perfect platform to highlight their product and will deliver both energy and excitement to every PBR event. It is going to make for some great live event and TV conclusions to the first round of competition.”

The Zantrex-3 Insta-Shot Grudge Match will give BFTS regular season event winners the opportunity to “call out” one of his fellow PBR bull riders for an exciting one-on-one contest that will take place on the first televised night at the following regular season BFTS event. At the end of each BFTS event, the winner will select his Grudge Match opponent from an elite list of eligible participants that includes former World Champions currently riding, one of the top 10 riders in the BFTS standings, or an event winner from all 2008 regular season BFTS events.

At the end of the first televised round of competition, the two participants will ride one of two bulls specially selected for the Zantrex-3 Insta-Shot Grudge Match. Although unpredictable, all efforts will be made to select two bulls of equal caliber and similar bucking habits with a coin toss determining which rider will match up against which bull. The rider with the highest qualified ride will be declared the Grudge Match winner and will receive an “Insta-Shot” into his bank account—a prize of $5,000. If neither ride, the prize money increases by $5,000 each event until someone is successful.

“I am extremely excited about this new program,” says Randy Bernard, the Chief Executive Officer of the PBR. “While every PBR event pits man against man and man against beast, we’ve always wanted to create opportunities for bull riders to compete in more direct head to head match ups. This will give event winners a chance to earn additional dollars and points, but more importantly to most of them, bragging rights over fellow competitors.”

The Zantrex-3 Insta-Shot Grudge Match will kick-off at the Git-R-Done Invitational hosted by Tater Porter & presented by Cooper Tires in Orlando, Fla., on June 6-7. By virtue of his event win in San Antonio, TX, Valdiron de Oliveira is the first participant in the Insta Shot Grudge Match. He selected Adriano Moraes as the first grudge match opponent.

“It was a tough decision deciding between Guilherme Marchi and Adriano Moraes as the first challenger in the Insta-Shot Grudge Match,” said Valdiron. “With Guilherme I could have challenged the number one bull rider in the world today, but there is only one three-time world champion and I want to face the legend.”

“Valdiron is a great bull rider and he is coming off of a big win in San Antonio,” Moraes responded. “I am not as good as I once was, but I am as good once as I ever was. I’m looking forward to winning the first Grudge Match.”

Watch for the kick-off of the Zantrex-3 Insta-Shot Grudge Match in Orlando and keep an eye out for a unique twist at the second Grudge Match in Dallas—you don’t want to miss it!

Border Patrol Joins with the PBR

One thing you will notice at a PBR event, the contestants love and admiration for the people defending our freedoms and our borders, so this new alliance really made sense when it was announced.

===================================

Bull riding fans everywhere know it takes a lot of skill, courage, and determination to ride for the PBR. Not everyone can do it; however, character traits such as these are also common among U.S. Border Patrol agents. This is why the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) is proud to announce its new alliance with the U.S. Border Patrol, “the Official Federal Law Enforcement Officers of the Professional Bull Riders.”

“The U.S. Border Patrol is a unique American law enforcement agency, steeped in rich tradition. They don’t just serve us on our borders—they protect and defend every inch of the United States from threats to our homeland,” said Sean Gleason, Chief Marketing Officer of the PBR. “PBR bull riders, associates, and fans share the same sense of pride in our country as U.S. Border Patrol agents, and we are honored that they are allowing us the opportunity to help further their recruitment and outreach objectives.”

The U.S. Border Patrol will have event entitlement for the 26th event on the PBR’s elite Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (PBR) in Grand Rapids, Mich., on September 12-13 at the Van Andel Arena. They will also have a major presence at all PBR Built Ford Tough Series events and be included in a number of performances at BFTS opening ceremonies. Elements will include swear-in ceremonies, special video presentations, and Color Guard and vocalist/musical group opportunities.

Chief David V. Aguilar had this to say about the new alliance with PBR, “We believe that the PBR’s core values of patriotism, strong work ethic, and family values are all attributes that the United States Border Patrol is looking for in our recruitment efforts.”

The primary mission of the U.S. Border Patrol since September 11, 2001 is preventing terrorists and terrorist’s weapons from entering the United States. Border Patrol agents perform their duties between the official Ports of Entry along 8,000 miles of land and sea borders.
